Honey Cake : Honey Wali Holi Recipe

Honey cake is a sweet and moist cake that is made with honey as a key ingredient.It is a popular dessert in many cultures. The cake can be flavored with spices such as cinnamon or ginger for added flavor. Ingredients

1/4 cup curd
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup refined oil
3/4 cup maida
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda

Preparations

Mix all the ingredients well to form a smooth batter.
Pour in 6 by 6 inch mould & bake it at 160* for 25-30 minutes
Then make a honey mixture using 2 tbsp Nature's Nectar Honey and 2 tbsp water
As soon as the cake gets baked, demould it after 10 minutes
Use Fork or toothpick to make small holes at the backside of the cake
Now with the help of a brush or spoon , soak the cake evenly with the honey syrup from all sides .
Now for the garnish, use mixed fruit jam, spread it well on the same side of the cake and put some desiccated coconut or sprinkles on top .
Serve at room temperature and enjoy your special Honey Cake.
